Visits to our Banding Station

Education Director, Kim Kaufman, measuring the wing cord
of an Indigo Bunting at the banding station.

This unique educational experience offers visitors the opportunity to view many birds, such as warblers, vireos, thrushes, and even hummingbirds, up close.  A wonderful presentation on migration and basic ID is included. Visits to the Bird Banding Research Station are available during spring and fall migration, for a fee of $35.00 per group.
