Thanks to the generosity of caring people like YOU, BSBO was able to raise the funds to construct our new Education Center! The exterior of the building is completed, and we're just waiting for the final permits to clear for the final phase of construction to begin.  The Center will include a beautiful Window on Wildlife and Native Plant Garden. 

On World Migratory Bird Day, Saturday, May 10, Tom Bartlett will conduct the 30th annual Bartlett BIG SIT fundraiser for BSBO’s education programs. Tom will spend 12 hours (5 a.m. to 5 p.m.) tallying all the birds he saw or heard from one location next to the Magee Marsh Wildlife Area Boardwalk. Throughout the history of the BIG SIT, and thanks to the generous support of thousands of donors, the BIG SIT has raised more than $150,000 to support Black Swamp's education programs.
