Exciting Changes Happening
at Black Swamp Bird Observatory's Headquarters
at the Entrance to Magee Marsh Wildlife Area!

YOU Can Help!

Picture
Something magical happens when students
participate in BSBO's education programs.
Your support helps make moments like this possible!
Picture
Thanks to the generosity of caring people like YOU, BSBO was able to raise the funds to construct our new Education Center! The exterior of the building is completed, and we're just waiting for permits to clear for the final phase of construction to begin.

We're raising additional funds to help finish the interior of the building and complete our Window on Wildlife and Native Plant Garden.
YOU can help!

Why this project Matters...

Our Beautiful Window on Wildlife/Classroom and Native Plant Garden Will Impact BSBO’s Mission by:

Expanding and enhancing our school programs:
Our vision is to create hands-on learning stations where students will explore and research various aspects of bird migration. The Window on Wildlife will provide an immersive space for students to study and observe bird behavior.

Providing a fabulous place for the public to enjoy and photograph birds:
Helping people fall in love with birds is what BSBO does best! The Window on Wildlife will create a space where you can enjoy birds in a beautiful, peaceful setting. And, we’re making plans with our partners at Shores & Islands Ohio to install a live streaming bird cam - so you can enjoy the birds at BSBO 24 hours a day, no matter where you are!
With special thanks to the following for their support:
