Passerine Migration ResearchWith over 30 years of data, BSBO's passerine (songbird) migration research is one of our longest ongoing projects and represents one of the largest data sets of neotropical migrants. Through this data, BSBO has been able to document the use of lakeshore habitats by vast numbers of migrants, develop the wave theory of migration, and establish the specific timing of species during migration.
